We have been providing products and systems for the stable and efficient control of energy in the social infrastructure. On the other hand, the era of solving various social issues and creating new value is approaching through (1) data distribution and big data collection by the Internet of Things (IoT) and (2) analysis by Artificial Intelligence (AI). There is an increasing demand for the provision of technologies and services that not only monitor and control facility information, but also achieve optimal operations through automatic control and prediction technologies.
This special issue introduces ICT and related products that are the fundamental technologies to achieve these requirements.
