We have delivered many products such as power transmission & distribution systems, monitoring and control systems, and renewable energy-related products. These products are in support of the stable supply of electricity mainly in Japan. In recent years, the environment surrounding the power grid systems has changed significantly due to initiatives to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions, reflecting current factors such as (1) Japan’s energy mix policy to achieve a more diversified energy mix by 2030 and (2) the decarbonized society. There are growing market demands for eco-friendly products by drawing on the decarbonization technology and DX technology.
This special issue introduces our new products and technologies that contribute to the drastically changing electric power infrastructures and the spread of renewable energy resources.
